There was drama at the last semi final of Alfreton's Party in the Park Battle of the Bands night.

As the votes came it was apparent that favourites Population Lost had been knocked out, with Backstage Riot and Frontline claiming the last remaining spots in the grand final.

But when the results were finally announced, the Crooked Town punks were told they'd had a reprieve.

Due to a technicality, Frontline were not available to play the all important final date, which meant as highest-scoring runners-up, Population Lost were back in the final.

This means the line up for the final clash at Alfreton Town Suppoerters' social club on Easter Monday, April 13, will be Dirty Riffs, Hearing Colour, Backstage Riot and Population Lost.

The doors open at 1pm, with an all-day barbeque and other acts performing throughout the day.
